When we travel to Ukraine, we bring with us just enough clothing for our needs, some water, and the funding to make camp possible for at least 100 youth and workers.
For this years' camp, the needs are as follows:
- $4,000.00 to cover costs of renting a facility, fuel, four bus trips, supplies, food, and misc. needs.
- Reading glasses. We visit at least two churches and distribute much-needed reading glasses to the scattered regions.
We have only been able to do these camps on a donation basis only. ALL funding is brought to our church (for accountability and tax-donation purposes). Financial responsibility is utmost, and we have never received money in any directors name.
Who is invited to attend our camps?
- Mature adults, with a desire to see many people come to Christ.
- Students that have their parents permission to attend. Students must be registered as campers, and live in the tents with the local youth.
- Rules will be followed, without exception. Plans are subject to change while visiting a foreign country, and often do. If you are not flexible, this is not a good fit for you.
- Your desire to see souls transformed is a pre-requisite for attending these trips.
- Conditions at these camps are ROUGH. Bathroom and bathing facilities are not common throughout the week.
- You MUST be prepared to serve. In return for your service (as a camper and staff), will reap rewards far more than you will ever be able to give.
